Maritime Museum

On Tuesday 4th September Half of Glen Taylor School went to the maritime museum For a trip,First off we went in a buss and made our way there,while we were heading there we saw the Sky Tower and it was as tall as a giraffe and saw many things,when we got there we met lots of people.But first we met Ryan ,he was amazing and funny he made us laugh and smile,Glen Taylor enjoyed meeting him.Next we went with our parent helpers and split up to go see things around the museum,I enjoyed going to the museum with my friends and I had lot and lots of fun😌😌

Yesterday on August the 7th Room 11 had done an experiment on sugar,All of Room 11 had to guess how much sugar was in many drinks.The drinks we had guessed on was,Fanta,Red bull,Just Juice (Orange & Mango),G force,Powerade,Coca Cola,Orange Juice, and V, Room 11 was split into three we had out own teams and come up with different grams of sugar,How much sugar do u think is in a drink??😃😃

Never Give Up - Dream

In this clip there is a hidden message,What i think is the hidden message is that the man who is speaking is saying  to NEVER GIVE UP🙋🙋on yourself and to always believe in  yourself,He says to dream don't be to afraid to dream only because your using your imagination and with your imagination you are thinking about your future.In my dream I think about what ill do in the future what would I do where I would go,If i want to achieve this dream I have to encourage my family to support me either way my family friends will support me even if I was a mile away,What do I do to achieve this?? what i need to do is to do something so that everyone will remember to me for what I have done.What is your Dream??😃😃

About two Endangered animals

Yesterday room 11 done L.C.S on an endangered animal,My endangered animal is a White tiger ,Before I was doing a white tiger i was doing  an Golden Lion Tamarin. Did you know the a golden Lion Tamarin  is a mammal and it's an omnivore they weigh 14 to 29 oz,The average life of the Golden lion Tamarin is to 15 years, also a group of golden lion Tamarin is called a troop.Back to the white tiger so the white tiger is only  full grown when it is 2-3 years of age,did you know that a white tiger is also called a Bengal tiger.In the world there are 10,000 white tigers.A white tiger is the second largest species of a normal tiger and they weigh up to 300kg and reaches more than the length of 3 meters.Thank you fro reading my post and enjoy your day.

                                                                     

                                                    Manaiakalani Film

In Room 11 we are doing a Manaiakalani film based on bully's.Room 11 is doing this because  we are wondering if bullying is a good thing or a bad thing,also we are doing this because we want to know why bullying is not good to people,For example someone calling you name s and making fun of you,As you can see from my slide that i had to research on (What are some causes of bullying and how can we stop it?) What Would Research On?

Yesterday Room 11 had a play day for our imagination on what we can do and build,we do this play day every once a week, we only do this The whole of middle block.We had to borrow equipment from other classes, The equipment we had borrow was blocks,wigs, costumes,and any other things.And also we had a play base learning in the juniors in Room 3 While i was in Room 3 i had painted a picture that says G.O because that's my first and last name,When i was drawing my picture the students were giving me compliments and say thing that made me have more fun in my picture. 3 thoughts i was having a lot of fun, i enjoyed it, and it was the best day i could ever have, Next week we should play some games outside and do some more fun things, We could make it better by adding new things in like,putting games that we can all play together and others things we could do.WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Geography

 Last week room 11 done some research on geography,for geography we had to answer question that were related on mountains and rivers from around the world while we were doing geography we learn about the Bermuda triangle which is also known as the devils triangle,scientist say that when ships  past this Bermuda triangle they never seem to make it all the way across,This Bermuda triangle is based in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean.

Dawn raids is when the islanders went overs seas and left their home country for a good job with a fair pay.The dawn raids were joined in life many years ago.Who Was Involved?Mainly the islanders were involved and the police.Early in the morning the police would go to the islanders houses and take out the over stayers and take them to a place before they get sent back to there home country .Why Did It Happen? It happened because the islanders stayed for over three months so they had to be arrested. They were racist because they didn't know who or where they were from and they were are different colour. I think that the white people feel guttered that they did such thing like that and that now they know that we are all the same. Dawn Raids 

Bucket Filling

Today I learnt about bucket filling with Mrs wrack.Mrs wrack read us a book called Have You Ever Filled A Bucket.This book was about people making other people happy and  making them smile.Do You Want To Know What Bucket Filling is? well bucket filling is when you are making someone happy and also being positive to others by showing them a smile and if they give you a smile back that means you have filled their bucket, also there is something called bucket dipping.Want to  know what that means? bucket dipping is when you make someone upset or mad when you do that you should know that you are emptying your own bucket.When your bucket is empty you feel sad left out and wishing you had never done something to that person These are my words of being a bucket filler is Be Positive,Share,Smile,Take Turns,Listen,Compliment,Include Others. There is a bucket on everyone there is one even on you, HAVE YOU FILLED A BUCKET!!
